My kids have been quoting movies from my own childhood. Has this happened to you? I hope it has, because it’s really funny. I’m not sure it happened a lot when I was little with my parents’ childhood movies, both because there were way fewer movies when they were young and because back then you had to have a physical copy of the movie in order to watch it.

But now all those old VHS movies are available for streaming, and so we get to relive the glory years with my kids all the time. Forget Encanto, forget Frozen, forget A Minecraft Movie, and move over, Terrifier 3! There’s a new best kids’ movie in town, and it’s Angels in the Outfield. (And by “best kids’ movie,” I obviously mean, “best kids’ movie for me as a parent to listen to my kids quote.”)
